Ricky Eugene Kerr
In February 1998, Texas Defender Service (TDS)
lawyers obtained a stay of execution for Ricky Kerr a day before he was
scheduled to be executed. Thanks to the tireless work of a slew of
lawyers, mitigation specialists, investigators and interns, lead counsel
and TDS Executive Director Kathryn Kase is pleased to announce that a
life plea was secured on November 22, 2011 for Ricky in Bexar County. The
